- Counsel to companies with respect to the planning, acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing, construction and development of real property from initial site identification, through due diligence, permitting and approvals, closing and construction. Such representation includes shopping center, restaurant, industrial, office and mixed-use projects.
- Counsel to owners, developers, contractors, architects and engineers with respect to the preparation and negotiation of construction contracts, site development agreements, construction manager agreements, design-build agreements, engineering, procurement and construction agreements and architect, engineer and other consultant agreements. Such representation includes American Institute of Architects documents, Design-Build Institute of America documents and industry form documents. Further, such representation includes assisting clients with respect to the construction process, permitting, zoning, mechanic's liens and construction close-out.
- Counsel to companies with respect to condominiums, cooperatives, air rights, multi-parcel assemblages, tax increment financing and other complex development transactions.
- Counsel to lenders with respect to REO, HOA/COA, title and lien dispute issues.
- Counsel to companies regarding title and survey issues, title policies and title claims.
- Counsel to companies regarding consultant and vendor services agreements.
- Represented multiple national restaurant chains (both franchisors and franchisees) in the acquisition and lease of real property throughout the United States for the development of over 400 new restaurants.
- Represented a national restaurant chain (franchisor) in the sale and conversion of over 600 company owned restaurants to franchisee owned restaurants, including the sale of anywhere from 3 to 75 restaurants in any single transaction.
- Represented a national restaurant chain (franchisor) in the acquisition of over 350 franchisee owned restaurants, with the simultaneous sale of said restaurants to new franchisees, including the acquisition and sale of anywhere from 10 to 250 restaurants in any single transaction.
- Represented an international transportation and logistics company in the lease of over 1 million s.f. of industrial and office space throughout the United States.
- Represented an international retailer in the lease of over 1 million s.f. of retail space throughout the United States.
- Represented a national big box retailer in the acquisition or lease of real property throughout the United States and its territories for the development of over 5 million s.f. of retail space.
- Represented a national big box retailer in the acquisition of over 100 parcels of real property which were assembled for the development of a retail center in New York City.
- Represented a national educational child care company in the lease of its first urban day care center.
- Represented an international chemical products company in the acquisition of over 40 acres of land to expand its operations in the southeast United States.
- Represented an international chemical products company on various construction projects in the United States.
- Represented an international consumer products company on various construction projects in the United States.
- Represented a national financial services organization on various title claims, property disputes, lien priority disputes, HOA/COA disputes, municipal violations and general REO matters.
