In $10,000,000.00 breach-of-contract action, obtained complete dismissal of multiple-count complaint with prejudice on behalf of banking client. Currently defending against appeal in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Defended client against putative class action. Before class-certification stage, obtained complete dismissal of all claims.

Defeated appeal challenging the application of an arbitration provision in a commercial real-estate covenant.

Validated $68,170,000.00 in revenue-anticipation certificates at public hearing in Superior Court of Fulton County.

After obtaining a judgment against materials supplier and filing fraudulent transfer suit against insolvent judgment debtor, obtained favorable settlement for client.

Defended several national financial-services organizations, including multiple Fortune-50 banks, in numerous state and federal actions alleging breach of contract, fraud, violations of the Truth-In-Lending Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and various other federal and state statutes. In each matter, either prevailed on a motion to dismiss or a motion for judgment on the pleadings or obtained an early favorable settlement for the client.

Obtained complete dismissal of lawsuit alleging tortious interference against commercial property owner who filed various administrative petitions challenging a company’s attempts to rezone adjacent property and build an energy plant.

Prosecuted breach-of-contract and related claims against billion-dollar pharmaceutical company. After mediation, obtained favorable settlement for pharmaceutical client.

Defended international-shipping client against claims of destruction of evidence.

Currently prosecuting claims for breach of contract, breach of warranty, misrepresentation, and negligence on behalf of national baby-food company in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. So far, defeated motions to dismiss filed by both opposing parties.

Counseled multiple clients in various litigation matters, including a chain of medical clinics in an action against a software company, a property developer in a dispute with investors, and multiple employee-leasing companies in trade-secret and non-competition litigation against former employees.
